Located in their incredible showroom at Brera Design District, the renowned interior design brand has presented their incredible collection through a unique exhibition called “A Life Extraordinary”, where the star was a stunning sofa design created by Marcel Wanders. “BFF, a sofa that is your friend, that embraces you if you are tired, that cheers with you when your national soccer team scores a goal, that makes your mother-in-law feel welcome, that comforts you when you receive bad news, that stays with you also when you move cities, that never skips your birthdays, that never talks too loud, yet supports you if you do. A true Best Friend Forever. “(Marcel Wanders).

For almost twenty years Moooi has inspired and seduced the world with sparkling and innovative designs. Founded in 2001, the luxury brand was named after the Dutch word for beautiful and is currently led by Marcel Wanders and Robin Bevers.

The stunning showroom by Moooi was located in Mediateca Santa Teresa, Via della Moscova 28 and feature a brand new range of novelties that can be the perfect centerpiece for any interior design project.

Inside we could see their incredible novelties for 2019, like the Singing chandelier or the Meshmatics Chandelier Small. However, the star of the show is (no question asked) the stunning BFF sofa by Marcel Wanders which consists of 17 soft modules and a footstool. This sofa design was inspired by the capitone technique that is known as the synonym of elegance and class.

Besides the brand new collection, the guest could also discover and visit a different exhibit that explored some innovative and extraordinary denim fabrics and leathers, called Moooi Tokyo Blue.

In this incredible space, we could see some unique designs created in the Indigo Experience Lab, ann exciting place created by the brand and ECCO Leather, creators of an exclusive range of leathers inspired by denim. Visitors could also participate in interactive workshops held at the Indigo Experience Lab and learn more about the secrets behind Moooi’s favorite materials and revolutionary techniques.
