At a time when new collections are popping up in stores and the new concepts for the autumn season are being launched, the event brings together the talents and forces of retailers, galleries, showrooms, hotels, and restaurants for eight days to share their experience in design and creation with the public.

Paris Design Week 2019 is divided into 5 districts, with hundreds of events, 200 places, 9 itineraries, and a lot of enriching talks, that are filled with design knowledge. From September 5th-14th, the complete universe of Maison Et Objet in Paris is on the spotlight, and it couldn’t be more exciting to be there and watch it all!

This year’s big theme for Paris Design Week is called “Hybrid”, a concept that is able to transcend and transform the way one could percept the interior design world. It mainly sits on the ability to combine many different elements, serving as an innovative source of inspiration and new experiences. It provides a prism through which you can observe objects,  bespoke furnishings, and spaces and act to influence them as part of a quest for versatility.

One example of the hybrid transformation in design is the workplace that is becoming more and more hybrid – as you’ll see at Maison Et Objet 2019, whose “WORK!” theme provides the perfect setting to discuss this same example. This Hybrid theme it’s expanded throughout 5 important districts: Vertbois, Opéra Concorde Étoile, Pigalle Barbès Stalingrad, Les Halles/ Marais/ Bastille, and Saint-Germain-Des-Prés.
