Zaha Hadid: Tour One Of Her Last Projects

Zaha Hadid

Step inside one of the last Zaha Hadid buildings in the world. One Thousand Museum tower was one of the last projects the renowned architect had the opportunity to personally work before her untimely death in 2016 and now we’ll take you on a tour of it.

Located on the waterfront in Downtown Miami close to several cultural buildings and points of interest, the 700 feet-high One Thousand Museum Tower will also have communal spaces that were also designed by Zaha Hadid herself, as well as her team.

Construction work is still going on, but the new Miami skyscraper is expected to be finished by late 2018. Even though it’s still in construction,  a model apartment has been fitted out by Brazilian furniture brand Artefacto last year, and today we are getting a sneak peek!

Artefacto was asked to take on the project and outfit the residential unit to give potential buyers an idea of what their finished home would look like.

The apartment, located on the 17th floor of the skyscraper, is 4,635 square-foot (430 square meters) and includes four bedrooms and some stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for an amazing view over the city.

But let us focus on the outside of this skyscraper. We can admire the unique style of the late Zaha Hadid in this amazing building whose facade is formed by 5,000 pieces of lightweight glass-fiber-reinforced concrete. It’s an amazing building and it’s the perfect example of the amazing Hadid Legacy.
