Brian J. McCarthy graduated from New York City’s Pratt Institute and has worked on projects around the world. In 2005, the AD 100 featured designer, designed the private quarters, and refurbished the State Rooms in Winfield House. Additionally, Brian has designed an array of stunning private residences, many for clients so high profile they wish to remain anonymous.

A former partner of the legendary design firm Parish-Hadley, he founded his eponymous firm Brian J. McCarthy Inc. in 1992. Since then, he has worked on projects and residences around the globe. In 2005, Brian was invited by the U.S. Ambassador Robert H. Tuttle to design the private quarters and refurbish the State Rooms in Winfield House, the official residence of the Ambassador to the Court of St. James

Having trained under the master designer Albert Hadley before opening up his own firm, Brian J. McCarthy continues to create beautifully sumptuous interiors and comfortably livable homes that personally reflect each individual client.
