Martin’s love for design started at a young age. His mother was a stylist and his father a mechanical engineer, the combination of these elements embedded a deep understanding of aesthetics alongside a grounding in functionality. Born in Stockholm and based in London and New York, Martin Brudnizki is recognized as one of the best interior designers nowadays. Martin studied Interior Architecture and Design at The American University and after working for a number of renowned architects and designers, this top interior designer established Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) in London in the year 2000 before opening a New York Studio in 2012.
Situated in the ultra-modern K11 Musea on Hong Kong’s picturesque Victoria Harbour, the new Fortnum & Mason stands as a beacon of English hospitality in a burgeoning market.
Blending together the original store’s Georgian design influences with eastern inflections, moments of joy, and innovation, the shop floor effectively contrasts against the ultra-modern external architecture in the store’s restaurant interior design.
Founded by Martin Brudnizki in 2000, the team is composed of over 70 interior designers, architects, lighting designers, product designers, and art consultants and has experience creating hotels, restaurants, bars, private members’ clubs, alongside residential developments and helping a select number of people design their dream homes.
Inspired by the grandiose homes and gardens in Bellagio, Italy and the whirlwind glamour and excitement of Las Vegas, The Mayfair Club by Martin Brudnizki is a fine-dining restaurant at Bellagio Hotel.
In the dining area scalloped edged banquettes in sumptuous red velvet are paired with contrasting green dining chairs, whilst timber tables exude glamour and sophistication.
But it’s about his restaurant designs that Inspiration and Ideas are particularly in love with. Filled with glamour and a very contemporary design style that merges various concepts, his interior design ideas are utterly out of the box and never ordinary.
Located in the heart of Stockholm is Pas d’Art, an iconic brasserie once known as Cafe Wiener. Oozing glamour, color, and heritage, the new Pas d’Art brasserie is warm and vibrant, serving guests from breakfast through to dinner.
A harlequin pattern-inspired painted ceiling looms overhead and echoes the curves and art deco influences of local architecture whilst Murano glass wall lights shaped like faces adorn the walls and nod to the Swedish art movement, Swedish Grace. A mixture of banquette and dining chair seating is divided by frosted glass panels, helping to create a relaxed yet private ambiance, perfect for dinner with friends and family.
With his unique designs showcased throughout the world, Martin Brudnizki has become one of the industry’s top interior designers. Specializing in restaurants, bars, hotels, and private clubs, he has created many well-known and luxury interior designs around the world. The majority of his interior design projects include luxury hotels and modern restaurants.
