Inspired by the iconic market street view and the European design lines, Kelly Wearstler created a unique rooftop design project at San Francisco’s proper hotel that is all about the bright color tones and the refined Europen design style. The design project reflects the natural beauty and decorative living environments of the Viennese secession art movement, with colorful floral patterns and geometric design combination.

Proper San Francisco

Bringing together the best of the vintage style with some modern details, Kelly Wearstler was able to create an amazing vintage style interior design for the popular Proper Hotel in San Francisco. By combining incredible pre-modernist styles, like cubism and Vienesse style, the interior designer was able to design a sophisticated and sensual design project that features a vintage vibe!

Located in one of the most famous landmarks in San Francisco, the VILLON restaurant project takes its name from Jacques VILLON, a French cubist painter and artist from the 20th century. This intimate and detailed space combines unique vintage style furniture with unique modern details. Inside the main dining room, Kelly Wearstler incorporated a custom Nero Marquina marble piece as well as a bespoke walnut bar!

Bergdorf Goodman Restaurant

This was Kelly Wearstler‘s first commercial project in the Big Apple! The interior design of the Bergdorf Goodman restaurant was inspired by the sophisticated salons of the past and the buildings beaux arts heritage. The interior designer used a modern mix of elements from the 1930s to the 1970s.

Inspired by the vintage chocolate shops of the early 20th century, Kelly Wearstler has created a unique interior design project for the Compartés Store design that embodies the art of chocolate making. The 430 sqft space was customized with some vintage color palette composed by bright hues like patinaed copper, honed and tumbled marble, ebonized wood, among others.

This glamorous restaurant project designed by Kelly Wearstler embraces a revival of mid-century California from the 1950s-60s. With bespoke vintage furniture and a sumptuous color palette of deep turquoise blues, gold, ivory, and neutral tones. Outside the interior designer placed a series of custom-designed cabanas composed by Wearstler’s signature soufflé sofas along with vintage-gilded Italian lounge chairs
