This might be one of the best hospitality projects to enjoy the beautiful Bahama views… Featuring incredible color tones (where the Color of The Year is the big star), incredible furniture designs and natural elements, this boutique hotel in the Bahamas island is the representation of the summer design trends for 2019!
Located in the Harbour Island, from the paradisiac Bahamas, the idea for this unique hotel was created by Jorge Mora, a design lover that felt in love with the stunning island views. “I’ve been going for probably 27 years, and I’ve always been in love with the island, so when I was looking to do my first hotel, it’s where I looked,” he explained to the House Beautiful Magazine.
The boutique hotel, also known as Coral Sands, is placed in beachfront property and has been renovated by many interior designers of the past few decades. Besides the incredible bedrooms and restaurant, the boutique hotel also features 12 private bungalows.

After Mora bought this incredible hotel, he decided that space needed a total makeover so he contacted Eddie Lee, the New York-based designer that has worked on nearly all of Mora’s residences. The original restaurant was cavernously-sized and lacking in decor. Lee added cypress panels to “warm it up a little,” then divided the space in half to make it feel more intimate.
Every corner of this incredible hotel features the most inspiring furniture designs and accessories that follow the top 2019 summer trends. The living coral tone and natural plants are a heavenly combination that we can see throughout the trendy hotel project!
