Located in the Harbour Island, from the paradisiac Bahamas, the idea for this unique hotel was created by Jorge Mora, a design lover that felt in love with the stunning island views. “I’ve been going for probably 27 years, and I’ve always been in love with the island, so when I was looking to do my first hotel, it’s where I looked,” he explained to the House Beautiful Magazine.

After Mora bought this incredible hotel, he decided that space needed a total makeover so he contacted Eddie Lee, the New York-based designer that has worked on nearly all of Mora’s residences. The original restaurant was cavernously-sized and lacking in decor. Lee added cypress panels to “warm it up a little,” then divided the space in half to make it feel more intimate.
