DESIGNER’S HOUSE
ON TOP HOTEL
On Top is the name of the newly designed hotel in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, which arose from the total renovation of an office building. The theme “above the clouds” was the inspiration for the naming and already appears in the vestibule and of course on the top floor. In the lobby area you check-in at the bizarrely designed reception counter, which was composed of the brass triangles of the former elevator portals. The very cool rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace, which is used as a gastronomy outlet during the day, is located on the staggered floor.

SAKS URBAN DESIGN HOTEL
The SAKS Urban Design Hotel is located in a central residential area in Frankfurt. The individual homely interior design is the basis for living in an urban environment. Warm materials and colors with individual accents convey a private, unconventional feel-good atmosphere to the guest in the room areas as well as in the cozy bar lounge, in the breakfast room, and in the SPA with a panoramic view.

On the 3rd floor of an old building, the small bathroom had to be completely renovated after water damage in a rented apartment. A walk-in shower, washbasin, and toilet were redesigned in the smallest of spaces. Work phases of the HOAI: LP 1-3, 5-8. Design and implementation, conversion and modernization in the old building, approx. 3 square meters of living space.

Designer Nicolas Adnet of the firm MHNA Paris has helped to develop an incredible modern hotel, inspired by the French city mansions of the 17th and 18th centuries. The Sofitel Frankfurt Opera pays tribute to the French way of life right in the heart of Frankfurt.
ONE FORTY WEST APARTMENT

For the 80-square-meter two-room apartment on the 25th floor with a view of Frankfurt’s skyline, he chose a combination of creations for well-known brands such as &Tradition, Freifrau, Moroso, Thonet, and Pulpo, as well as his world-famous Bell Coffee Table, designed for Classicon in 2012. “I want to create an atmosphere of space, architecture, and interior design,” Herkner explains.

CHALET HOME DECOR
The designer Kyra Hildebrandt studied product design at the Bauhaus University Weimar and at the Politecnico di Milano. In 2008 she founded the April and Bonnie agency together with a former colleague. In addition to the staging of branded architecture for commercial spaces, she is particularly fond of developing furniture and classic interior design for private living areas.
