Led by its Creative Director and its founder, Sophie Ashby, the Studio Ashby creates spaces with a unique identity. They want to bring authenticity to each interior design project, not only in the selection of furniture, lighting, and art but in its use of a natural palette of materials and textures.
Unswayed by the passing dictates of fashion, Studio Ashby draws on her love of antiques, color, contemporary ‘world art’, modernist furniture, photography and her latest discoveries to deliver an eclectic richness to each inspiring interior. Passionated about the world of incredible craftsmanship skills, Sophie Ashby knows the best relationships with artisans and craftsmen, extensive resources and continual foraging play an integral role in developing each project.
Whether it’s a home, a restaurant, a hotel or a commercial development, Studio Ashby applies the same creative approach that starts with envisioning the lives of the people who will inhabit it. Stemming from Sophie’s own passion and training in art history, they believe art has a vital place in every inspiring interior and no space feels complete without it.
