Several times a year, the famous Aerin Lauder jets to Paris for her beautiful home decor where every window faces the Eiffel Tower. This incredible home was bought in the early 1990s by her parents, Ronald and Jo Carole Lauder. The three-bedroom apartment was renovated by the distinguished architect, Antoine Stinco.
The renowned interior architect erased the flat’s Frenchness, refitting it with a sycamore interior that makes it feel as if you’re on a boat, with a lot of built-in headboards and night tables. Stinco’s minimalist base perfectly sets off the family’s exceptional collection of modernist gems, like the Royère sofa, the Georges Jouve ceramics, Yves Klein’s Victory of Samothrace sculpture on the glass-topped Carlo Mollino table, and rare furnishings by Jean Prouvé.

Supermodel Joan Smalls Redos Her Miami Estate
For her two-bedroom apartment, which she purchased in Miami’s downtown Brickell neighborhood in January, Smalls chose a palette that included cool grays and warm whites for an airy, seaside feel. So to bring this vision to life, the famous supermodel turned to RH, Restoration Hardware’s Interior Design concierge-level services.
The final result is a space that is rich in texture and designed for lounging and entertaining. The bespoke decoration feature designs by Milo Baughman, Jonathan Browning, and Kelly Hoppen, among others, and plenty of luxe yet earthy materials, like cashmere, linen, and mohair velvets as well as natural agate, shagreen, and quartz crystal.
See Inside Anna Sui’s Stunning Greenwich Village Apartment
For the third highlight of this month Elle Decor Issue, the interior design magazine’s team has chosen an incredible apartment owned by a famous fashion designer. When Anna Sui moved into her turn-of-the-century Greenwich Village building almost two decades ago, she found a close friend and, eventually, a second apartment. Her next-door neighbor was Murray Lerner, an Oscar-winning documentarian known for his films on Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, and Itzhak Perlman. Sure enough, when Lerner moved out a few years ago, she took over his space and embarked on a three-year renovation to create a unique home decor out of two distinct spaces.
Sui’s solution was to insert two hidden doors on either side of the library that allows her to move from one apartment to the other. Passionate about craft, Sui painstakingly searched for skilled artisans to work on her home’s decoration, which was executed and supervised by her incredible contractor Petrit Coma.
