The prestigious magazine, that is an icon in the interior design and fashion world has been given exclusive details of the celebrity’s houses. Today, Interior Design Magazines will show you Courteney Cox’s Malibu house. The actress’ house made the cover of Elle Decor a few years ago.
Her beautiful Malibu home, in California was renovated by architect Michael Kovac and designed by Trip Haenisch.
A John Lautner–designed concrete table from Cox’s previous home is paired with stools from Lebanon; Gervasoni lounge chairs are upholstered in a Perennials fabric, and the decking is Ipê.
A vintage French lamp extends over a Haenisch-designed sectional in the living area, the custom-made cocktail table is from Bourgeois Bohème, and the chair is by Hans Wegner; a Samsung television is set into the flagstone fireplace surround.
A custom-made banquette surrounds a teak-and-steel lava-rock fire pit.
In the master bedroom, the custom-made head- and footboards are zinc, the selenite bedside tables are by Blackman Cruz, and the bedding is by Deborah Sharpe Linens; the two-tone Swag Leg chair is by George Nelson, and the rugs are from DDC.
Ottomans by Sutherland flank a side table by Christian Liaigre on the flagstone patio; the pool is filled with saltwater.
As you can see, Courteney Cox’s Malibu house is fantastic. Elle Decor give us a rare glimpse to the stars’ homes and we must appreciate that we can take a look to their home and get some ideas for our own.
