DZ Design began as a tiny architectural and interior design business with only the two of them working across their dining table when it was founded in 2014 by husband-wife team Dina and Zain. DZ Design Studio has now developed to become one of Dubai’s leading interior design firms for mid-sized hospitality, residential, and commercial projects.

The team, which has more than 30 years of combined expertise in global hospitality design firms and retail groups, is capable of completing complicated projects in a short amount of time while also ensuring a smooth client onboarding process.

This luxury kids’ bedroom in neutral tones was designed with simple Scandinavian concepts in mind, with a little color and minimalistic decor. Throughout the interiors, DZ Design used a muted color palette and natural materials.

The client requested a resort-style look and feel, so the DZ Design team was tasked with blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces to create a seamless experience. Large bi-fold doors were custom-designed to allow maximum light into the space. The living room and outdoor areas will be used as one place throughout the winter months in Dubai when fully opened.

The interior design of the living and dining areas, as well as the master bedroom, was entrusted to the DZ Design team of interior designers. They established a seamless transition between the living room and dining room area by having an open-plan kitchen and an adjacent dining area. The customer desired a home that exuded richness, warmth, and comfort, thus natural materials and natural earthy tones for the wall color and furnishings were used extensively.

They said that they despised harsh finish colors, so as part of the makeover process, the crew remodeled the floor, doors, and all of the rooms to their exact specifications. Because the apartment was small, one of the most prominent features was a large circular mirror that reflected the world-famous Dubai sea vistas, including the beautiful Marina.

All studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, lofts, and penthouses were designed by the DZ Design team. The developer’s requirement for our team was to design luxury homes that resembled hotel rooms, with the highest quality interior finishes and amenities. Following this brief, the team employed walnut wood and marble throughout the property, with brass accents, with a focus on FF&E.
