This prize, for those of you that don’t know it, honors the work path of a noted scholar, writer or artist who made their mark in the world of arts or letters. The British architect is normally recognized by his ability to reveal stories an identities while embodying the real human experience. As they say that an image talks more than a thousand words, so I think that is better, for you,u if a show what I’m talking about.  Don’t go anywhere and see for yourself!

One of Sir David Adjaye’s most known projects (and you know which one I’m talking about) it’s the Smithsonian National Musem of African American History Culture. This contemporary building has become a landmark, an icon, to the American architecture. In this contemporary project, we can see that he combined the U.S. black cultural modernity, with his African heritage to remind us of the past and move us into a better future.
