Charles Zana has shared his taste and skills in the most exquisite residential and public interiors around the world for the past twenty years, from Paris to London, via Gstaad, Tel Aviv, and Monaco. The interior designer, who is based in Paris, loves to think he doesn’t have a distinct style.
“I’m not into hard-and-fast recipes, what’s nice is to create an atmosphere specific to each space.” – Charles Zana
Charles Zana represents the finest of what France has to offer to his clients.
Zana is an architect who wears his intense curiosity about modern art and Italian design on his sleeve, having received rigorous training at Paris’s École des Beaux-Arts and being steeped in his country’s rich decorative arts history and legacy of great craftsmanship.
He takes a dual approach to each project. The first is that of a meticulous architect skilled in construction, seeking comfort, flowing circulations, details, harmony, symmetry, and discrete technology, but also capable of integrating, when appropriate, the history of places, of appropriating and returning, of amplifying or “twisting.”
“He doesn’t force a style upon his clients. He’s much more versatile than many of his peers.” – Marie Kalt, Editor In Chief At AD France
