10 AMAZING PROJECTS BY B+H:

• I – ARC Restaurant

Located in the Fairmont Waterfront, the redesigned design of the ARC Restaurant focused primarily on creating a new and engaging lounge with a more centralized bar encouraging a relaxed and entertaining area separate from the remaining dining spaces. In addition to the new bar and lounge area, a feature chef’s table serves a dual purpose as a breakfast buffet. New banquette seating was added to provide more intimate niches along with a new private dining room intended as a multi-purpose room used for both meetings as well as private parties.

Fusing the luxury of first-class travel with inspiration from Vancouver’s natural beauty, the Gold Level is adorned with a palette of opulent golds and calming smoky blues, reflecting the colors of the Great Outdoors while guests enjoy a respite from their travels surrounded by the warmth and exclusive experience of an executive home-away-from-home. Standard guestrooms are reinvigorated with fresh, saturated accent colors such as burnt orange and seafoam green. Throughout the hotel, the timeless and elegant lines of the furniture work harmoniously with custom artwork that is inspired by the outdoors and vintage aeronautics to provide a seamless transition from the flight cabin to the well-appointed rooms.

The modern design scheme creates a cool, sophisticated, and comfortable atmosphere, offering the perfect retreat after a day of business meetings or exploring the city. A soothing palette of watery deep blues and greys surrounded with wood veneer millwork details pay homage to the city’s natural setting. Clean lines, neutral tones, and modern furnishings, paired with fabrics in hues of smoky dark blue, immediately connect guests to the city’s urban ambiance. Thoughtfully placed abstract artwork echoes the fluidity of the surrounding ocean.

• VI – PCL Toronto District Office

After 25 years in their Greater Toronto Area operations office, PCL Constructors Canada Inc. (Toronto) decided it was time to renovate their home base to reflect how their business and industry have evolved. They were ready to invest in a space that would sustain PCL well into the future. Our client wanted their new office space to help them work differently as an organization. They identified the need for a more collaborative work environment – one that focuses more on employee integration, engagement, and the sharing of information and technology while showcasing raw elements of construction.

Situated in Yuelan Bay with a mountain backdrop, the Greenland Primus Resort Sanya provides modern travelers a peaceful and relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle on Hainan Island, also known as Eastern Hawaii.

• IX – Hotel Belmont

Capturing the unique vibe of this downtown Vancouver hotel took careful planning and consideration. No detail was too small as each one would inform the guest’s experience of the distinctive Hotel Belmont brand. As a boutique hotel it needed to feel intimate, inviting, and unmistakable in its character. Honoring the history of the area while ensuring it meets the needs and expectations of discerning modern guests was a fine balance that was considered throughout the design process.
