We are talking about (of course) the prestigious Maison et Objet and Paris Déco Off, two design landmarks that set the top interior design trends for the year! #1 Paris Déco Home’s Grand Premier

Fabrics, wall coverings, and trimmings dominate Paris Déco Off, and now, with the inaugural edition of sister event Paris Déco Home, tableware, furniture, lighting, and decorative objects will simultaneously enter the limelight. Thirty upscale brands, including Amini CarpetsGienLeitner Leinen, Marie Martin, and Raynaud, will open their houses, showrooms, and pop-up spaces, offering guests sneak previews and glimpses of limited-edition pieces.

#2 Lladró’s Newest Version Of The Nightbloom Design

Alongside its whimsical Koi and cocktail party-ready tableware collections, the famous luxury design brand is presenting a new iteration of its Nightbloom design at Maison et Objet 2020. Made in collaboration with Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, the ethereal chandelier mimics a flower fluttering in the breeze. Its porcelain petals, dotted with gold luster paint, play with light and shadow.

#3 Christian Lacroix’s Designers Guild Collaboration

After a long time working together, Tricia Guild’s Designers Guild and Christian Lacroix Maison unite at Galerie Vivienne to present at Paris Déco Off an incredible creative pop-up showroom, that is devoted to Designers Guild finished product collections and Christian Lacroix Maison’s new L’Odyssee. For those of you who don’t know, this incredible collection consists of a fantastical melange of vivacious pink, green, blue, and black that transports through printed and woven fabrics, panoramic wallpapers, and home accessories.

#4 Cassina’s Entrance into Outdoors

The Italian furniture brand is presenting for the first time their incredible outdoor collection that features unique furniture designs by distinguished interior designers such as the brand’s art director Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, and Philippe Starck. There is Dordoni’s modular sofa Sail Out, calling to mind 1950s resorts, for instance, and Urquiola’s playful Trampoline, a circular, canopied “love bed” accentuated by polypropylene rope. That handwoven material also comprises the backrest of Philippe Starck’s subtly tropical Fence-e Nature armchair and sofas.

#5 Christopher Farr’s Designer Partnerships

Standout textile designs are the stars of Woven that feature rugs spun from wool, hemp, and space-dyed yarns by fashion designer Gregory Parkinson, who decamped to Christopher Farr’s weaving mill in Mirzapur, India, as well as a trio of fabrics from designer Kit Kemp.

#6 Rinck’s New Furniture Line

French interior design company Rinck, known for its in-house manufacturing workshops, has a new contemporary dining room collection, called  Félicité. Featuring soft curves, this incredible furniture collection encompasses six chairs, two armchairs, a table, a console, and two sconces.

#7 Atelier Vime’s Farrow & Ball Installation

Atelier Vime’s bevy of skilled weavers and rattan craftsmen have beautifully updated the art of basketry. Their bespoke handcrafted pieces will be on display at La Nature des Choses, which is  Atelier Vime’s five-room apartment decked out with vintage items and pigment-rich paint colors from Farrow & Ball’s elaborate palette, including Bancha, Cromarty, and the new Duck Green.
