- Glass Light Hotel & Gallery, Autograph Collection
Envisioned as a home for the hotel owners’ ever-expanding collection of singularly unique and profoundly exquisite glass art, the design of this distinctive 114-room boutique property connects hotel guests both conceptually and physically to the collection. Working closely with the owners, the design focuses on creating an activated and highly experiential guest journey from the moment you enter the historic building until you reach your room.
- AC Charlotte SouthPark
Influenced by Spanish sculptor and architect Xavier Corbero’s poetic vision for the world, the award-winning design of the AC Hotel Charlotte SouthPark serves to amplify the SouthPark area’s reputation as a high-end fashion enclave. Corbero’s aesthetic – most notably represented in his labyrinth home – inspired the restrained European modernism of the space, taking on the architectural silhouette of a sculptor.
- Sheraton Phoenix Downtown
The Sheraton Phoenix Downtown got a complete overhaul. Baskervill worked with Sheraton brand leadership on the guestrooms update which focused on translating the brand’s new design ethos: balancing the timeless with fresh and modern, creating an environment where guests feel at ease no matter where they are. The guestroom redesign champions productivity focused on modern conveniences for the business traveler with a welcoming, residentially inspired palette of soft finishes, warm wood tones, and black and metallic accents.
- AC Hotel Kingston
Located in the heart of Jamaica’s capital city, the hotel harnesses the spirit of the island nation at its finest. The soul of Jamaica – its colors, textures, and rhythms – is evident in every aspect of the design. The 148,000-square-foot property takes its architectural inspiration from the surrounding Blue Mountains. The distinctive balconies protruding from the façade are reminiscent of the puffy clouds that bisect the range on sunny Jamaican afternoons.
- Cumberland House Knoxville, Tapestry Collection
Located immediately north of the University of Tennessee’s Fort Sanders campus, the Cumberland House hotel is a living thread that artfully stitches the present-day bustling community with cherished remnants of the neighborhood’s Victorian heritage. The hotel celebrates the rich manufacturing tradition of Knoxville, honoring history while welcoming the ways the city continues to grow and adapt with time, drawing inspiration from the Knoxville Tannery, Woolen Mills, Button Factory, and other local industrial icons.
- Saranac Waterfront Lodge
Saranac Waterfront Lodge is a new luxury boutique hotel and spa in the idyllic Adirondacks village of Lake Saranac. The resort includes a grand entry lobby with high ceilings, rich wood tones, curated art selections, and elegant lighting.
- Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, Autograph Collection
Nuanced nautical influences set the tone for this comprehensive renovation, which included updates to all 150 guestrooms and suites and public spaces, as well as re-imaging of the exterior façade. - 205 Granby Museum
A sister property to the Glass Light Hotel next door, 205 Granby is an extension of the hotel’s awe-inspiring glass art gallery. While the hotel focuses on the journey of creating class, the museum celebrates the result. Encompassing two floors of the historic building, the first floor is purposefully light and fresh while the second floor is more intimate and reflective. The design is minimal yet purposeful, acting as a canvas for the art throughout the space.
