AD 100 Designer Kelly Behun is famous for creating unique customized environments tailored to each client’s needs and style, as you can see through this amazing design project in the Hamptons. Considered an interior designer with the eye of a gallerist, Kelly’s inspiring design projects utilize everything from bespoke furnishings and unique designer pieces to offbeat accents and inexpensive vintage finds. Thanks to her unique colorful furniture designs, this trendy home decor was upgraded to the next level.
Known for its comprehensive and highly bespoke approach to interior design projects and its exclusive line of furniture and home accessories, Kelly Behun was the missing piece for this amazing interior design project. Her unique furnishings and home decor accessories added a pop of color to this zen home decor.
Kelly’s design work has been featured in numerous domestic and international design and shelter magazines and television shows, as well as on the cover of the book “Bathrooms” and “The Bathroom Design File,” published by Ryland, Peters & Small. “Of course furniture needs to be comfortable and functional. But I like to go in and respond to space as though it were a landscape. I think of furniture as sculpture,” explained Kelly Behun do Architectural Digest magazine team.
For their dream home project, the client’s wanted something “wacky” but sophisticated interiors, so they searched for the best interior designers in the market. After the playful architecture project by Edmund Hollander, the AD 100 designer Kelly Behun added a playful foil to the architecture.

Kelly Behun counted with her Rolodex of artisans list to fill the place with eye-catching furniture sure to get people talking. For example, in the family room, the interior designer added a unique chandelier, called Shape Up, designed from Brooklyn-based Ladies & Gentlemen Studio. This amazing lighting design is standing over the custom table and bench design by Kelly’s studio.
The original interior design of this luxury home featured some neutral tones, luxe materials, and subtle, stained white oak, so Kelly Behun wanted to keep a refined environment with a slash of color. In the master bathroom decor, a chain stool by Clic and hand stool by Studio A decorate the luxurious master bath.
